Club Rules

Rules in Effect During Club Hours

• Alcoholic Beverages

  If you are going to shoot, you are not permitted to drink alcoholic beverages at any time before or during practice, or before or during any shooting event at JCC. This includes—but is not limited to—jackpots, leagues, non-registered, and registered shoots. Management may ask violators to leave the premises.

• Eye and Ear Protection

  You must wear eye and ear protection while shooting or scoring a shooting event.

• Gun Safety

  Our club follows the three NRA safety rules:

  1. Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Always keep your finger off of the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
  3. Always keep your gun unloaded until you are ready to shoot.

  Additionally, we ask that you follow a couple of other rules:

  4. Always keep your action open until you are on the line and ready to shoot.
  5. Always make sure your shells are ATA compliant.*
